Implementing the Law on Cultural Heritage

Pursuant to Decision No. 723 dated April 6, 2025 of the Prime Minister on promulgating the Plan for implementing the Law on Cultural Heritage, on May 22, 2025, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee directed the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism to disseminate the Law on Cultural Heritage and documents guiding the implementation of the Law on Cultural Heritage according to regulations, ensuring timeliness, consistency and effectiveness. Preside over and coordinate with relevant agencies to implement the required contents at Point a, Section 1 and Section 2, Section 3, Part II of Decision No. 723 of the Prime Minister on schedule and within the prescribed time; promptly report and propose to the Provincial People's Committee the contents beyond its authority.

Ha Long Bay (Ha Long City, Quang Ninh Province) was recognized by UNESCO as a World Natural Heritage in 1994 and 2000.

At the same time, review and advise the Provincial People's Committee to carry out state management work within the scope of tasks and powers assigned in the Law on Cultural Heritage. Monitor the implementation, periodically report to the Provincial People's Committee; advise the Provincial People's Committee to report to the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism within the prescribed time.

Provincial departments, branches and sectors, based on their functions and tasks, organize propaganda, dissemination and legaleducation on the Law on Cultural Heritage and documents detailing a number of articles of the Law on Cultural Heritage.

Dong Thap Newspaper, Dong Thap Radio and Television Station, Dong Thap Electronic Information Portal publish and update the full text of the Law on Cultural Heritage and documents guiding the implementation of the Law on Cultural Heritage on the Electronic Information Portal, social networking platforms for cadres, civil servants, public employees, workers and people to easily access, exploit and use; build news routes, propaganda articles, disseminate the Law on Cultural Heritage and documents guiding the implementation of the Law on Cultural Heritage appropriately.

The People's Committees of districts and cities coordinate with the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism to implement the provisions of the Law on Cultural Heritage in the management areas within the scope of assigned tasks and powers.
