Yen Lac district has nearly 98% of voters agreeing with the administrative unit arrangement plan.

Implementing the direction of the Provincial People's Committee, from April 19-20, Yen Lac district organized to collect public opinions on the project to rearrange commune-level administrative units in the province and the policy of merging 3 provinces: Vinh Phuc, Phu Tho, Hoa Binh.

Yen Lac district has a total of more than 42,500 voters, more than 41,800 voters giving their opinions, accounting for more than 98.3%. Seven out of 16 communes and towns have 100% of voters giving their opinions. According to the referendum results (as of 8:00 p.m. on April 20), 97.8% of voters agree with the project to rearrange administrative units at the commune and provincial levels.

After having the results of synthesizing opinions on the policy of establishing communes and the policy of arranging provincial-level administrative units, the People's Councils at the commune level and the People's Councils at the district level will hold meetings and issue resolutions to approve the policy of arranging commune-level administrative units in 2025 of Vinh Phuc province and the policy of arranging provincial-level administrative units.
