According to the survey, the discount for Hyundai Elantra will vary depending on each dealer. A car dealer in Bac Ninh is currently offering a cash discount of 50 million VND for Hyundai Elantra, depending on the version, and giving away genuine accessories. Meanwhile, another dealer in the Hanoi area is offering Hyundai Elantra for sale from 570 million VND, 29 million VND cheaper than the listed price of the company.
In general, dealers mainly reduce the price from 25 to 50 million VND for this C-class sedan. Some places are even more generous, reducing the price by 60 million VND for the Hyundai Elantra.
The new generation Hyundai Elantra was first introduced in the Vietnamese market last September with a total of 4 versions and prices ranging from 599 to 799 million VND. With this price, Hyundai Elantra is one of the cheapest models in the C-class sedan segment in Vietnam.
In the new generation, Hyundai Elantra has an additional N-Line version with a sporty style. The highlight of the N-Line version is the sportier front bumper, 18-inch alloy wheels, rear spoiler, rear diffuser under the rear bumper and dual chrome exhaust pipes.
Inside the new Hyundai Elantra in Vietnam, there are convenient equipment such as a 10.25-inch digital dashboard, a 10.25-inch central touch screen, supporting Apple CarPlay/Android Auto connectivity, leather seats with heating/cooling, automatic air conditioning, push-button start, electronic handbrake with automatic brake hold and smart remote control trunk.
In addition, the 2023 Hyundai Elantra in Vietnam also has safety equipment such as electronic balance system ESC, vehicle body control VSM, hill start assist HAC, 8 front/rear parking assist sensors, tire pressure sensor, Cruise Control and 6 airbags.
Under the hood of the 2023 Hyundai Elantra in Vietnam are 3 engine options. The 2 low-end versions are equipped with a 1.6L, naturally aspirated gasoline engine, with a maximum capacity of 128 horsepower and a maximum torque of 158 Nm, combined with a 6-speed automatic transmission. Meanwhile, the mid-range version uses a 2.0L, naturally aspirated engine, with a maximum capacity of 159 horsepower and a maximum torque of 195 Nm, combined with a 6-speed automatic transmission. The corresponding figures for the 1.6L turbocharged engine on the N-Line version are 204 horsepower and 265 Nm, accompanied by a 7-speed DCT dual-clutch automatic transmission.
In 2022, Hyundai sold a total of 2,921 Elantra units to Vietnamese customers. Thanks to that, this model ranked 3rd in the C-segment sedan segment, only after Kia K3 (10,505 units) and Mazda3 (5,333 units) and surpassed Toyota Corolla Altis (1,954 units) as well as Honda Civic (1,948 units).
