The upgraded version of the Hyundai Elantra has just been introduced in Korea.
The mid-life facelift version of the Hyundai Elantra has been officially launched with certain changes. Hyundai Avante is also known as Elantra in some regional markets, the facelift version of this C-class car has just been updated with a mid-life version with a slightly changed exterior for a more pleasing look, the chassis, design, and overall dimensions remain the same.
Specifically, the front of the car has certain changes such as the headlights have been refined to be neater and thinner, the grille has been flattened and divided into layers for a sporty feel. However, the daytime lights are still separate and do not have a horizontal LED strip like the current new car models. Depending on the version, there will be options for 15 to 17 inch rim sizes.
At the rear, the 2023 Hyundai Elantra only has a new rear bumper and diffuser, creating a sportier feel. The car's reflectors are also moved to a higher position on the rear bumper. The remaining areas on both sides of the car have almost no new changes.
The interior space still retains the overall design of the previous generation, mainly upgrading the experience such as the central screen and speed with a size of 10.25 covered with glass for a brighter feeling, 8 Bose speakers with amplifier, wireless charging, heated and cooled seats, and heated rear seats. The standard version uses an analog clock and an 8-inch central screen.
Notably, the new generation also has an electronic key feature, allowing opening with phones and smart watches, or self-adjusting air conditioning to reduce humidity and prevent mold and odors when passengers leave the car.
In Korea, the car is equipped with a 1.6L gasoline engine with two power levels of 118 horsepower and 121 horsepower, respectively, and a self-charging hybrid version with a capacity of 104 horsepower. There is still no information about the 2.0 and 1.6 turbo versions, or maybe the manufacturer has not applied this configuration and switched to the green car trend.
In terms of safety, the 2024 Hyundai Elantra has been upgraded with 8 airbags, integrated dash cam and SmartSense package with many smart features such as lane keeping assist, adaptive cruise control, automatic emergency braking assist...
The 2024 Hyundai Elantra has a converted price of about 360 million VND to 590 million VND depending on the version. In Vietnam, this car model is currently priced from 599 - 799 million VND for 4 versions sold and in February, 250 cars were sold in the whole market.
