According to Engadget, users iPhone 15 Pro, iPad, or even MacBook Pro M3 devices are about to experience one of the biggest games of 2023 this December. Capcom has announced that the Resident Evil 4 remake will launch on the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max, as well as iPads and Macs running the M1 chipset or higher, on December 20th. Its expansion pack, The Separate Ways, will also launch around the same time.
The Resident Evil 4 remake is coming to Apple devices.
The remake of the classic 2005 survival horror game will support Universal Purchase, meaning players only need to buy it once and play it forever on iPhone, iPad, and Mac. Additionally, cross-progression will be supported, allowing gamers who no longer want to play on their iMac to relax in bed and continue the game on their iPhone or iPad.
The publisher will allow fans to play a portion of the game for free before deciding to purchase it. This creates an opportunity for people to get a feel for how well Resident Evil 4 will perform on Apple devices, as well as to find out if the touch controls on iPhones and iPads are suitable, although the game still supports controllers. It may even be possible to play with a keyboard and mouse on a Mac.
