According to the Daily Mail , on June 5, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) announced that Hezbollah had established five locations in the Dahieh area of Beirut to produce thousands of UAVs.

"These underground facilities belong to Hezbollah's Unit 127," the IDF said. However, the IDF has yet to provide concrete evidence of the existence of these factories.

It is understood that Israel warned residents to evacuate the area before it launched heavy bombardments.

"Following Hezbollah's extensive use of UAVs as its primary weapon in attacks against the state of Israel, the group continues to ramp up its production of UAVs for further attacks," the Israeli statement said.

Israel stressed that the UAV factories allegedly located in Beirut "violate the agreement between Israel and Lebanon".

"The IDF will act against any threat to the state of Israel and its people, and will thwart any attempt to re-establish Hezbollah's activities," the IDF statement added.
