Italjet is probably a name that is not unfamiliar to those who regularly follow information about cars. This is a company famous for its high-capacity scooters and "beast" style designs. And at this EICMA exhibition, the Italian car company introduced to the market the Italjet Roadster 400. The Italjet Roadster 400 is a brand new scooter that harmoniously combines the classic features of traditional Italian scooters with modern mechanical design in the style of Steampunk, creating a work of art that is both unique and artistic.
At first glance, many people might think this is just an AI-generated car or a prop from the movie Mad Max. But no, the Italjet Roadster 400 is a real car, ready to enter the production line for market launch in 2026. The bike is the work of Massimo Tartarini, CEO of Italjet, who has succeeded in translating the classic Italian scooter spirit into a completely new, powerful and modern look – true to the Dragster line.
The front of the car stands out with classic round headlights placed on a soft curved mask. The rear of the car is shaped like a wasp's tail, accompanied by jet-style air intakes that add strength and luxury. The frame still bears the typical Italjet mark with a cross-woven steel tube frame, open front forks and sporty clip-on handlebars - both unique and mechanical. The Italjet Roadster 400 is powered by a 394 cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that produces a maximum power of 31 kW (41.5 hp) at 7,500 rpm and a torque of 41.2 Nm at 6,000 rpm. The dry weight of just 151 kg is very light compared to the power the bike delivers, and will certainly give the bike impressive performance on the road. The Roadster 400's suspension system was developed exclusively by Italjet under the name DLAS (Dual Link Articulated Suspension) - a suspension mechanism that completely separates the steering movement and the front fork, helping to increase precision, reduce weight, and improve stability on all types of roads.
At the rear, the vehicle uses a single suspension fork, attached via a complex swingarm mechanism that is both aesthetically pleasing and efficient in operation. Between the tail and the suspension system, there are also double air vents that create an impressive aerodynamic highlight. The Italjet Roadster 400 is expected to cost around 7,500 euros - about 228 million VND and will be officially sold in 2026.
