The conference was attended by 43 production units and distributors; including large purchasing and distribution corporations such as Central Retail Group; GO Da Nang supermarket; TOKENMALL e-commerce platform; Intimex Da Nang Joint Stock Company (Danavimart supermarket chain); DHTC Da Nang Joint Stock Company (managing and operating Son Tra night market) and representatives of enterprises, cooperatives supplying products and distribution systems of Nghe An, Da Nang, Dong Nai, Dong Thap and Hanoi .

According to Cao Nguyen Hung, Deputy Director of Nghe An Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion Center, the conference aims to strengthen the connection between Nghe An, Da Nang and other provinces and cities in trade promotion activities, support businesses to introduce, promote and expand product consumption markets. At the same time, it creates a bridge between businesses, cooperatives, production facilities with distributors, trade centers, supermarket chains, specialty stores, contributing to increasing the value of goods and developing the local economy .

Through the conference, 18 business pairs signed a memorandum of cooperation on consumption. At the same time, the units attending the conference also organized exhibitions and introduced a variety of local products such as food, beverages, agricultural products, pharmaceuticals and cosmetics, household appliances, souvenirs, etc.

Deputy Director of the Department of Industry and Trade of Da Nang Do Thi Quynh Tram stated that the conference connecting trade between Da Nang - Nghe An and other localities is one of the typical activities to implement Directive 29/CT-TTg of the Prime Minister on stimulating consumption, supporting production, business and developing the domestic market. At the same time, it contributes to supporting and promoting production and business activities for enterprises, creating a spillover effect.

“Da Nang City identifies connecting supply and demand of goods as an important, regular and long-term task. In the coming time, we will continue to closely coordinate with localities in sharing information, accompanying businesses to maintain and further develop cooperative relationships and links in trade promotion activities to support businesses in developing the market,” said Ms. Do Thi Quynh Tram.
