Connecting businesses, spreading "Vietnam's proud story" at EXPO 2025

The conference aims to provide information on exhibitions and displays to foreign governments and international organizations that have confirmed their participation in EXPO 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan.

Mr. Tran Nhat Hoang, Deputy Director of the Department of International Cooperation, Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, said this is the seventh time Vietnam has participated in the EXPO World Exhibition, one of the global events with far-reaching influence.

According to Mr. Tran Nhat Hoang, EXPO 2025 will be an opportunity for Vietnam to implement its foreign policy, especially in the new era, the era of the country's rise. This is not only an opportunity to introduce the beauty of the country, the Vietnamese people, the country's potential but also an opportunity to connect with the world. Mr. Tran Nhat Hoang emphasized that EXPO 2025 is also an opportunity for Vietnamese service enterprises to connect with the world, including Japanese partners.

At the same time, EXPO 2025 is also an opportunity for Vietnam to tell the story of a new Vietnam in its foreign policy as well as in its development policy to the world. It is a Vietnam that is both modern and traditional, promoting the country and finding its own opportunities to develop its own country.

The Deputy Director of the Department of International Cooperation, Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism emphasized that by participating in EXPO 2025 at the invitation of the Japanese Government, the Vietnamese Government is fulfilling an international commitment to organizing the exhibition, while also showing respect for the relationship with Japan.

Within the framework of the conference, the Vietnamese delegation also participated in many other activities such as meeting with ASEAN delegates; working with the Japanese Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry; working at the One Stop Shop event support center of the EXPO 2025 Organizing Committee...

Participating in EXPO 2025 Osaka contributes to affirming that Vietnam attaches importance to the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership for Peace and Prosperity in Asia and the world with Japan, contributing to further strengthening the friendship, solidarity, understanding and trust between the people of Vietnam and Japan.

Aiming at the general theme of EXPO 2025 Osaka, “Designing the Future Society for Our Lives”, Vietnam will have an exhibition pavilion named “Vietnam Exhibition House” with the theme “Inclusive Society with People at the Center” in the exhibition area with the theme “Life Empowerment”.

With this theme, the Vietnam Exhibition House suggests a society that develops comprehensively and harmoniously, looking from the experience of Vietnam, paying attention to all aspects in the development process, from economy, culture, education, technology, health, to environmental protection, community values ​​and gender equality, in which people are the center, people are both inspired to contribute and dedicate, and are the subjects who enjoy progress, prosperity, and happiness in an equal and sustainable way. A society that takes good cultural values ​​as the foundation, takes internal strength to develop harmoniously and fairly.

The Vietnam Exhibition House plays a role as a convergence point and spreads “proud stories about Vietnam” told to international friends such as the model of sustainable economic development in harmony with cultural development, associated with social progress and equity, environmental protection, considering climate change factors; social development associated with the goal of gender equality; social security system with the core motto of “leaving no one behind”.

The World Expo 2025 in Osaka, Japan, is an international event where countries introduce and display their products and scientific and technological achievements. Vietnam's participation in EXPO 2025 Osaka is to concretize the Party and State's policy of proactively integrating into the world comprehensively, implementing the task of promoting the image of Vietnam, preserving and promoting national identity; promoting cooperation, attracting investment and tourism, strengthening the country's overall strength, enhancing the country's international position and prestige; contributing to peace, national independence, democracy and social progress in the world.
