According to RIA Novosti, based on the results of the latest research by the Public Opinion Foundation (FOM), Russian President Vladimir Putin still maintains a very high level of trust.

Accordingly, the vast majority of Russian people continue to positively evaluate President Vladimir Putin as the country's leader.
From the data published on the FOM website, 82% of respondents believe that Putin is more likely to successfully fulfill his responsibilities, while only 8% expressed moderate dissatisfaction with his work.
On the question of trust in the president, 80% of respondents said they trust Vladimir Putin, while 11% of Russians do not.
The weekly FOMnibus survey was conducted on February 16-18 among 1.5 thousand respondents over 18 years old from 104 urban and rural settlements in 53 regions of the Russian Federation. The survey method was interviews at the respondents' place of residence. The statistical error does not exceed 3.6%.
The poll results were released about three weeks before Russia held its presidential election. This is the first time in history that Russia held a presidential election in three days (from March 15 to 17). With a high approval rating, incumbent President Putin is predicted to win overwhelmingly against the remaining candidates.
