BHG - Within the framework of the 15th "Through the Viet Bac Heritage Sites" Tourism Program - Bac Kan in 2024, recently, at the H'Mong Viilage Resort - Quan Ba District, the Organizing Committee of the Tourist Guide Competition at 6 Viet Bac provinces held the Competition at the tourist destination of Ha Giang province. This is the first place to organize the competition in the 6 Viet Bac provinces, followed by Tuyen Quang, Thai Nguyen, Lang Son, Cao Bang, Bac Kan provinces; Ha Giang has 2 contestants registered to participate in the competition.

With the theme “Experience a round of Viet Bac”, each province chooses “1 typical local tourist destination” to organize the contest, including 2 contents: Organizing cultural activities, arts and folk games to attract a large number of people and tourists to participate (30 minutes before the contest); organizing a contest for Tour Guides at the location, contest time is 15 minutes/contestant, divided into 3 parts: Talent contest, explanation skills, situation handling.

The 2024 “Tour guide at 6 Viet Bac provinces” competition aims to create opportunities for tour guides at the points to connect, exchange, learn experiences, practical knowledge and practice professional skills, contributing to improving the quality of service to tourists. Through the competition, it contributes to promoting the image and tourism brand of 6 Viet Bac provinces to a large number of people, businesses and tourists in the region and the whole country.
The Award Ceremony of the Contest will take place at 8:00 p.m. on August 26, 2024 (during the Music Program and Fashion Show "Viet Bac Imprint" to celebrate the 75th anniversary of the Liberation of Bac Kan Province) at the Bac Kan Provincial Cultural House Square.
