Opening of the Phu Tho Spring Newspaper Festival 2019

To celebrate the 89th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of Vietnam (February 3, 1930 - February 3, 2019) and major events of the country, from February 15 to February 17, 2019 (ie January 11 to 13, the year of the Pig) at the Phu Tho Provincial Library (Viet Tri City), the Phu Tho Provincial Journalists Association presided over and coordinated with the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism; Viet Tri City People's Committee to organize the opening ceremony of the Phu Tho Spring Press Festival 2019.

This is the 21st annual traditional Spring Newspaper Festival held in the homeland of the Ancestors and is one of the opening activities for a series of cultural activities and festivals in the province, enriching the spiritual and cultural life of all classes of people every time Tet comes and spring comes. The 2019 Phu Tho Spring Newspaper Festival introduces 17 exhibition booths with over 700 press, publishing and cultural publications of the following units: Phu Tho Provincial Journalists Association, Phu Tho Newspaper, Provincial Radio and Television Station, Viet Tri City People's Committee, Department of Information and Communications, Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Department of Foreign Affairs, Lam Thao Superphosphate and Chemical Joint Stock Company, Hung Vuong University, Literature and Arts Magazine of the Ancestors, Nhan Dan Newspaper, Vietnam News Agency in Phu Tho, Military Zone 2 Newspaper, Nhan Dan Newspaper, Today's Rural Newspaper, Vinh Phuc and Yen Bai Provincial Journalists Association. The content of the publications is rich and diverse, focusing on comprehensively reflecting the innovation and integration of the homeland, the results of implementing political tasks of each level, each sector, each locality and base in 2018. Each unit participating in the exhibition shows its own creative decoration, providing a panoramic view of the innovation and development of the press nationwide and the press of Phu Tho province. Reflecting the exciting competitive atmosphere to celebrate the 89th anniversary of the Party's founding and welcome the new spring of Ky Hoi 2019.
Through the Spring Press Festival, press agencies and journalists in the province understand and grasp more fully the needs and tastes of readers, radio listeners, and television viewers, thereby continuing to innovate the quality of content and forms of propaganda to better serve the socio -economic development tasks of the province and the country.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Comrade Bui Van Quang - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee warmly praised the achievements and efforts of the press team, press agencies and the Phu Tho Provincial Journalists Association who were active in press and propaganda activities in 2018 and organized the Phu Tho Spring Press Festival in 2019. The Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee emphasized: In 2019, continuing to implement the Resolution of the 12th National Party Congress, the Resolution of the 18th Provincial Party Congress, it is necessary to focus on performing the tasks, which are: Grasping the political goals and tasks of the year regarding the local situation, strengthening emulation and propaganda work to contribute to the successful implementation of the set goals. Press agencies and journalists in the province constantly improve their political capacity and professionalism, must be a sharp weapon in the fight against the false and distorted arguments of hostile forces. Must fully implement the principles and purposes of the main service objects. Promote the role in presiding, coordinating, orienting, exchanging, and processing information between local and central press agencies to ensure accurate, complete, and comprehensive two-way information in the fields of politics, economics, culture, and society in the province...
Participating in the exhibition at the Phu Tho Spring Newspaper Festival 2019, Phu Tho Provincial Library displayed special documents Celebrating the Party - beloved Uncle Ho; Celebrating Spring; Celebrating the country's integration and Phu Tho Cultural Heritage with more than 2,000 documents... The exhibition booth was beautifully and creatively decorated with artistic book stacking models and documentary photos. The displayed documents were selected and introduced while simultaneously propagating and disseminating the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's laws and policies, and introducing the achievements of innovation of the homeland and country in the fields of politics - economy - culture - society in the homeland of the Ancestors.
