Opening ceremony of fire fighting and rescue competition in region 3

The CC-CNCH Professional Sports Competition Round 2 - Region 3 is an activity within the framework of the 9th "For National Security" Sports Congress Program in 2025 of the Ministry of Public Security.

Speaking at the opening ceremony of the contest, Vice Chairman of Nghe An Provincial People's Committee Bui Dinh Long emphasized that fire prevention and fighting plays an extremely important role in social life. Fires can happen anytime, anywhere and cause many serious consequences. Improving knowledge and training in fire prevention and fighting - rescue skills is not only the task of the functional forces but also the responsibility of each individual and organization.

In Nghe An, closely following the direction of the Central Government, based on the practical situation and local characteristics, the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council and People's Committee always pay attention to leading and directing the work of fire prevention and rescue. In particular, the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Force of Nghe An Provincial Police is focused on developing to be increasingly disciplined, elite and modern; regularly training, coaching skills, expertise, improving combat health, promptly participating in rescue, rescuing people, property and serving the people, making an important contribution to the overall development of the country and Nghe An province.

The competition is not only an opportunity for the local Fire Prevention and Rescue Police force to compete, demonstrating their bravery, skills, and professional tactics in all situations, but also an important opportunity to propagate and educate each officer, soldier of the People's Police and the people to understand and be proud of the process of building and developing the People's Police force in general and the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police force in particular.

This year's competition has the participation of 13 teams from the police of the following provinces: Nghe An, Thanh Hoa, Ha Tinh, Quang Binh, Quang Tri, Quang Nam, Quang Ngai, Binh Dinh, Phu Yen, Khanh Hoa, Ninh Thuan, Da Nang city and Hue city. Coming to the competition, the 13 teams will compete in theoretical and practical competitions such as: CC & CNCH command; CNCH swimming; 4x100m relay race for firefighting and rescue.

After the opening ceremony, the teams practiced the 4x100m firefighting and rescue relay race with high determination, completing the task excellently. The two competitions “firefighting and rescue command” and “rescue swimming” had been completed earlier.

Final results, for the Fire Fighting and Rescue Command competition: Nghe An Provincial Police won First Prize, Thanh Hoa Provincial Police won Second Prize and Ninh Thuan Provincial Police won Third Prize.

The organizing committee awarded first, second and third prizes to the teams.

Swimming and Rescue Competition: Thanh Hoa Provincial Police won first prize, Quang Nam Provincial Police won second prize and Nghe An Provincial Police won third prize.

In the 4x100 meter firefighting and rescue relay race: Nghe An Provincial Police won first prize; Quang Ngai Provincial Police won second prize and Thanh Hoa Provincial Police won third prize.

The Organizing Committee also awarded the First Prize to Nghe An Provincial Police, the Second Prize to Thanh Hoa Provincial Police and the Third Prize to Binh Dinh Provincial Police. These will be the 3 teams representing Region 3 to participate in the Final Round held in Hanoi in the near future.
