On the evening of November 30, the "Vietnamese Specialties for Vietnamese Tet" Festival was officially opened at GO! Thang Long supermarket, Hanoi .

Following the success of the "Pride of Vietnamese Specialties" Festival, which took place on the occasion of the National Day on September 2nd, Central Retail Vietnam launched the "Vietnamese Specialties for Vietnamese Tet" Festival; thereby, creating conditions for consumers to review the traditional beauty of the old Tet memories and connect cultural values through dishes and specialties of each region of Vietnam.

The "Vietnamese Specialties for Vietnamese Tet" festival will take place until December 11, 2024 at all GO!, Big C, and Tops Market supermarkets nationwide; giving consumers the opportunity to experience traditional Tet shopping, through the Candy Festival, the Dried Goods Festival, and the Vietnamese Agricultural Products Festival...

Specifically, the program applies attractive promotions of up to 49% on nearly 100 specialty products from all regions of the country such as: Dried buffalo meat, dried pork, beef jerky, buffalo jerky, dried bamboo shoots (Northwest); dried pho, special dong vermicelli, five-color rice vermicelli, specialty rice, peeled green beans (Hanoi); squid braised in tamarind, braised milk crab, sweet and sour yellowstripe scad (Central); 9-flavor coconut candy ( Ben Tre ), shrimp crackers (Ca Mau)...

The festival "Vietnamese specialties for Vietnamese Tet" will take place until December 11, 2024 at all GO!, Big C, and Tops Market supermarkets nationwide.

Speaking at the ceremony, Ms. Nguyen Kieu Oanh, Deputy Director in charge of the Hanoi Department of Industry and Trade, assessed: The program "Vietnamese specialties for Vietnamese Tet" is an extremely meaningful initiative, not only contributing to diversifying the market of goods but also creating opportunities for consumers to enjoy unique specialties of regions across the country. Because Tet is the most important holiday for Vietnamese people. The Tet meal is not just a simple meal but also a manifestation of family reunion. Choosing specialty products with the rich flavor of the homeland to display on the Tet meal not only shows respect for family traditions but also contributes to promoting the image of the country.
