On the morning of February 27 (March 19, Giap Thin year), the People's Committee of De Tham ward ( Thai Binh city) organized the opening ceremony of the traditional festival of Hai Ba Trung temple.

The traditional festival of Hai Ba Trung Temple, De Tham Ward, takes place from the 18th to the 21st of the third lunar month every year, commemorating and expressing gratitude to the two female national heroes Trung Trac and Trung Nhi and their generals who led the people to revolt against the Eastern Han invaders and gain national independence. In 2005, the Provincial People's Committee issued a certificate to rank Hai Ba Trung Temple as a provincial-level relic.

With the awareness and responsibility of preserving the values of historical and cultural heritage, in recent years, the local Party Committee, government and people have regularly paid attention to investing in the renovation and restoration of relics. In 2019, De Tham ward renovated the Hai Ba Trung temple relic with a total investment of more than 4.5 billion VND from socialized sources.

At the opening ceremony, a special drum performance took place. Immediately after the incense offering ceremony of the delegations, there was a procession of palanquins in the form of a foot procession and a water procession with the participation of people from all walks of life.
