On the afternoon of April 16, at Luy Lau Cultural Center, Thuan Thanh town, the Association of Revolutionary Soldiers imprisoned by the enemy, the Provincial Museum and Tourism Promotion and the People's Committee of Thuan Thanh town held the opening ceremony of the exhibition "Forever shining the example of revolutionary soldiers of Bac Ninh province imprisoned by the enemy during the resistance war against American imperialism".
The Organizing Committee cut the ribbon to open the Exhibition.
The Organizing Committee introduced and displayed nearly 100 images, documents, and artifacts about the places where revolutionary soldiers were imprisoned and imprisoned, facing the brutal torture of the enemy in Phu Quoc and Con Dao prisons... With a steadfast and indomitable spirit, the revolutionary soldiers turned the prison into a revolutionary school, fighting uncompromisingly against the enemy to protect the Party, the revolution, and the people. Typical examples include: Martyr, Hero of the People's Armed Forces Nguyen Dinh Xo in Lac Ve commune, Tien Du district, despite being brutally tortured by the enemy and having boiling water poured on him, he remained steadfast and determined to fight to protect the Party and his comrades until his last breath; Comrade Vu Van Kim in Dinh To commune, Thuan Thanh town used a knife to cut his own stomach to protest the US's action of not returning prisoners of war; Comrade Dao Van Kim in Phat Tich commune, Tien Du district wrote a suicide note, volunteered to self-immolate, and vowed to be a living torch to fight and protest the harsh prison regime...
Delegates and children visit the Exhibition
It is a shining symbol of revolutionary tradition, helping cadres, party members and people, especially the young generation, deeply understand the patriotism and indomitable fighting spirit of the elite children of Bac Ninh-Kinh Bac in the resistance war against the US to save the country.
