At Bac Cuong Secondary School, student attendance, test scores, and assessments are continuously updated on the system, ensuring objectivity and fairness; in addition, teachers and parents are aware of students' abilities and limitations to provide appropriate guidance.

Ms. Nguyen Lan Anh, a teacher at Bac Cuong Secondary School in Lao Cai City, said: "All of the school's administrative systems, such as lesson plan books, homeroom teacher books, and assignment logbooks, are supported by the system, making the work process easier. This working method is also very scientific, ensuring that teachers do not make mistakes; at the same time, teachers are closely supervised by the school's Board of Directors, the Department of Education and Training, and the Provincial Department of Education and Training."

Applying technology to teaching helps improve the quality of lessons, and teachers' management work also becomes easier.

Focusing on digital transformation in both management and professional activities, Bac Cuong Secondary School is currently applying a series of shared software such as VnEdu, a subsystem of the smart education system; and MISA EMIS software for managing civil servants, public employees, universal education, and finances… helping the school reduce manpower and improve management and operational efficiency.

"These software programs help teachers innovate teaching methods, improve assessment and evaluation activities, create enthusiasm among students, and manage the curriculum; at the same time, they contribute to the accurate management of the school's assets and finances," added Mr. Nguyen Xuan Huong, Principal of Bac Cuong Secondary School, Lao Cai City.

Technology contributes to making the learning environment more modern, inclusive, and effective.

With significant investment in technology and infrastructure, the education sector in Lao Cai has been actively promoting the exploitation and application of digital data. This forms the foundation for breakthroughs in management and teaching, gradually improving the quality of education and fostering innovation.

"With this data, it's entirely possible to incorporate artificial intelligence or virtual assistants to help students and the public access education more conveniently. With this data, teachers have more information to analyze and assess students' abilities, thereby providing more accurate career guidance and counseling," said Mr. Nguyen Minh Thuan, Deputy Director of the Department of Education and Training of Lao Cai province.

Exploring and applying digital data also helps the education sector in Lao Cai province to better identify gaps in educational quality between different localities within the province, thereby enabling timely support policies and improving learning opportunities for students in disadvantaged areas.
