Opening of a store to introduce and sell OCOP products in Vung Liem

(VLO) The Department of Agriculture and Rural Development of Vung Liem district has just opened a store to introduce and sell OCOP products - specialties of Vung Liem district at Vung Liem market (Vung Liem town).

People visit and shop at the store introducing and selling OCOP products - specialties of Vung Liem district.

The store displays more than 35 typical specialty products of the district, including 17 products that have been certified OCOP. These are all typical products, produced from local raw materials, ensuring quality, origin, and food hygiene and safety, such as Thanh Cong pork roll, Tan Dat organic rice, Duc Dat pandan coconut jam, Hoang Trang rice flakes, Hiep Ky sausage, etc. Mr. Nguyen Van Phuoc Thien - Vice Chairman of the District People's Committee, said: Up to now, the district has built and certified 17 OCOP products, including 4 products that have achieved 4 stars. The district has 2 stores introducing and trading OCOP products at Hieu Phung market and Vung Liem market. The points of sale contribute to creating an important bridge between consumers and producers, improving the effectiveness of promoting and consuming local specialties in a sustainable manner. At the same time, accompanying people to effectively implement the campaign "Vietnamese people prioritize using Vietnamese goods".
