Medical examination and gift giving to flood victims in Ha Nha commune

DNO - The Red Cross of Da Nang city has just coordinated with Hospital 199 (Ministry of Public Security), Saigon Song Han Eye Hospital and volunteer groups to organize a program of free medical examination and gift giving for people in Ha Nha commune.

Accordingly, 200 households in Ha Nha commune were given 2 tons of rice, 500 boxes of instant noodles, 510 towels, 200 blankets, 430 boxes of goods... worth nearly 780 million VND.

The medical team from Hospital 199 and Saigon Song Han Eye Hospital examined common diseases after the flood such as: respiratory diseases, dermatological diseases, eye diseases, chronic diseases... and provided free medicine to the people.

For cataract cases, Saigon Song Han Eye Hospital offers free surgeries; for patients with dry eyes and refractive errors, the hospital will provide free medicine.

Vice President of the City Red Cross Society Nguyen Tien Lam said that in addition to material support, health check-ups help people stabilize their lives soon after the storm and flood.
