Sharing about the memories, passion, and concerns in the process of compiling the book and the messages that the authors wanted to convey through this book, Deputy Director of the National Political Publishing House Truth Nguyen Thai Binh said that in 1988, the two authors had the opportunity to visit Sa Pa, "at that time this place was still primitive, transportation was difficult, tourism infrastructure was not yet available, we just wanted to write about the land and people of Sa Pa, so that many people would know about this place".
"Hopefully, when reading this little book, if you are still far away, you will want to visit Sa Pa one day soon. If you are here, you will want to stay longer, and if you have already been to this land, you will want to return soon," co-author Nguyen Thai Binh emphasized.
The book has been updated by the authors, supplemented with a lot of content and information about new tourist attractions in Sa Pa such as: Ban May, Ham Rong Mountain Eco-tourism Area, Sun World Fansipan Legend Tourist Complex... making the content of the work more enriching.
