Urgently establish a working group to remove obstacles related to rubber land in Dong Nai

Reporting at the meeting, a representative of the Provincial Land Fund Development Center said that the unit and the People's Committee of Cam My district were assigned by the Provincial People's Committee to carry out the work of recovering, compensating and clearing the land of 33 plots of land managed by Dong Nai Rubber Corporation Limited Company.

Up to now, for 26 land plots recovered to organize auctions of land use rights, the Provincial Land Fund Development Center has completed compensation and support payments for 5 land plots with an area of over 383 hectares; 7 land plots have had land recovery decisions, decisions approving compensation, support, and site clearance plans, but Dong Nai Rubber Corporation Limited Company has not agreed to receive the money; 14 land plots are carrying out procedures for recovery, compensation, support, and site clearance.

For 9 land plots under projects to exploit land funds in the vicinity of transport projects, currently 4 land plots have been approved by the local People's Committees for land recovery, investigation, survey, measurement, and counting; 3 land plots have not been approved by the Provincial People's Committee for boundary and legal documents of the road project, so there is not enough legal basis to carry out the work of recovery, compensation, and site clearance; 2 land plots are being carried out by the People's Committee of Cam My district.

According to localities, departments and branches, recently, Dong Nai Rubber Corporation has actively coordinated with localities to implement, however, the progress of liquidation and handover of rubber land is still slow.

Speaking at the meeting, VRG Board Chairman Tran Cong Kha requested Dong Nai Rubber Corporation to actively cooperate and work on Saturdays and Sundays to hand over land to the locality as soon as possible to implement the projects. Regarding any problems, proactively work with local authorities to promptly resolve them.

Concluding the meeting, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Vo Tan Duc said that in 2025 and early 2026, the province must reclaim nearly 4,600 hectares of land managed by Dong Nai Rubber Corporation to implement projects.

Therefore, the provincial authorities must review the list of land plots implementing projects that involve rubber land acquisition to plan the time for acquisition and handover of the site in 2025. Determine specific areas, plans, implementation time... to be completed before June 10. On that basis, Dong Nai Rubber Corporation Limited Company will proactively develop a suitable liquidation plan to meet the schedule.

Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Vo Tan Duc also assigned the Department of Agriculture and Environment to urgently advise the Provincial People's Committee to establish a working group including representatives of the Provincial People's Committee and VRG to coordinate in resolving difficulties related to the liquidation and handover of rubber land.
