Khanh Hoa: Welcoming cruise ship with more than 200 multinational tourists

According to the registration schedule from shipping lines, from now until the end of 2025, Khanh Hoa will welcome 4 cruise ships with about 12,000 tourists on board.

On August 4, the tourism industry of Khanh Hoa province welcomed an international cruise ship named Ms Viking Yidun at Cam Ranh International Port (Cam Ranh Bay) and brought 210 tourists from China, Canada, Italy... ashore to visit tourist attractions in the province.

By the evening of the same day, the ship Ms Viking Yidun weighed anchor to continue its journey to take tourists to visit Ho Chi Minh City.

The tourists who came ashore were organized by Phuong Thang Service, Tourism and Trade Limited Company to visit the ancient Ponagar Tower, which is over a thousand years old, located next to Nha Trang Bay; participate in experiential activities at Truong Son craft village, visit Long Son Pagoda, etc.

Khanh Hoa Province Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism said: Since the beginning of the year, Khanh Hoa has welcomed 16 international cruise ships with more than 19,000 tourists coming ashore to visit famous scenic spots, architectural-cultural, artistic-spiritual works; sightseeing tours, and local culinary experiences.

According to the registration schedule from shipping lines, from now until the end of 2025, Khanh Hoa will welcome 4 cruise ships with about 12,000 tourists on board.

This is a positive signal for the recovery and development of the province's cruise tourism activities, after Khanh Hoa moved the port of call for cruise ships from Nha Trang port (Nha Trang bay) to Cam Ranh international port, because Nha Trang port is undergoing repairs and upgrades.

Since the beginning of the year, Khanh Hoa province has welcomed over 10.8 million tourists to stay, relax and visit, including over 3.2 million international visitors, with total revenue from tourists reaching 42,379 billion VND./.
