Mr. Trinh Minh Hoang, Vice Chairman of Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee, has just requested investors to speed up the progress of energy projects, especially urgently completing feasibility study reports, connection procedures, site clearance, etc. to ensure progress and put the project into operation as planned.
Yesterday (September 26), Mr. Hoang listened to the investor of the energy project report on the progress of implementation and discussed and resolved problems of 9 projects: Song Giang 1 Hydropower Plant; Phuoc Hoa Pumped Storage Hydropower Plant; Phuoc Huu Wind Power Plant; Vietnam Power Wind Power Plant No. 1; Cong Hai 1 Wind Power Plant - Phase 1; Cong Hai 1 Wind Power Plant - Phase 2; Phuoc Nam - Enfinity - Ninh Thuan Renewable Energy Power Plant; Phuoc Dan Wind Power Plant.
Representatives of investors said that currently, the projects have basically completed a number of legal procedures and deposits for implementation. However, many projects are still facing some difficulties and problems in: Calculating financial plans, analyzing project investment efficiency when putting into commercial operation; District-level land use planning and plans (now commune-level) have not been updated, leading to legal difficulties in implementing the next steps; compensation, support, site clearance and resettlement; agreement on the direction of connecting power lines; preparation of feasibility study reports, etc.
Mr. Hoang emphasized that renewable energy is a field of strategic significance for Khanh Hoa, both meeting energy security requirements and creating momentum for green and sustainable economic development.
Mr. Hoang shared and acknowledged the difficulties and obstacles of investors in implementing energy projects.
According to Mr. Hoang, the province always accompanies to remove obstacles for businesses and requires departments, branches and localities to work, discuss and guide investors to carry out related legal procedures; focus on resolving the appraisal of documents and procedures as soon as possible; study bidding documents; fully update land use plans to have a legal basis for land allocation and lease...
