The "Dai Viet" stupa was started on June 10, 2024. After more than a year of construction, the stupa was inaugurated in the joy of monks, nuns, Buddhists and people. The stupa is 17.9 meters high, with 9 floors, crafted entirely from monolithic granite, in the architectural style of the Tran Dynasty - majestic, purely Vietnamese. The first floor worships Buddha Hoang Tran Nhan Tong, the wise King of Dai Viet, founder of the Truc Lam Yen Tu Zen sect. The eight upper floors worship the four-faced Amitabha Buddha, symbolizing boundless light, shining in all ten directions. The top of the tower is a 9999 gold-plated lotus bud, with the gold-plated words "Dai Viet Thap" symbolizing the pure, sustainable and benevolent soul of the Vietnamese people. The stupa is not only a Buddhist architectural work, but also a symbol of Vietnam's cultural - spiritual - territorial sovereignty .

Along with the inauguration of the stupa, the Executive Committee of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha in Quang Ninh province started the construction of the Lecture Hall and the Monk Residence of Truc Lam Pagoda on Tran Island. The lecture hall is a center for Dharma propagation and education , a place to hold Dharma talks, teach doctrines, train talented monks and foster Buddhist studies for monks and Buddhists in the island region. This will be a source of wisdom in the border, spreading the spirit of "Buddhism in the world, not separate from worldly enlightenment", helping people, soldiers and tourists understand the Dharma, do good deeds, and live happily in everyday life.

The Sangha area is a place for monks to live, study and recuperate. It is planned in harmony with the pagoda complex, ensuring living and practicing in harsh conditions on a remote island. The project demonstrates a sustainable vision in building a Buddhist life closely connected to the sea and islands for a long time, nurturing spirituality and contributing to firmly protecting the airspace and sea of the Fatherland.

The inauguration ceremony of the “Dai Viet” stupa and the groundbreaking ceremony of the lecture hall and the monks’ quarters are sacred milestones in the journey of building Truc Lam pagoda on Tran island, the first Truc Lam pagoda on the outpost of the Fatherland. This project is not only a symbol of faith and wisdom, but also a testament to the spirit of “Protecting the nation, pacifying the people, and preserving the Dharma”, contributing to spreading the light of compassion and wisdom to all corners of the homeland; sowing good karma for the young generation, opening the path of studying, practicing, cultivating the soul and patriotism right on the sacred sea of the Fatherland.
