Inauguration and putting into use of water supply works in Lak district

On March 1, the Management Board of civil and industrial construction investment projects of Dak Lak province held the inauguration ceremony of the water supply system for Lien Son town and Dak Lieng and Dak Nue communes, Lak district.

This is a typical and practical project to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Buon Ma Thuot Victory and the liberation of Dak Lak province (March 10, 1975 - March 10, 2025).

Leaders of the Provincial Civil and Industrial Construction Investment Project Management Board introduced the overall project.

The Water Supply System Project for Lien Son town and Dak Lieng and Dak Nue communes was approved by the Provincial People's Council in Resolution No. 08/NQ-HDND dated March 19, 2021 and approved by the Provincial People's Committee in Decision No. 3832/QD-UBND dated December 31, 2021 with a total investment of 90 billion VND, capacity of 4,000 m³/day and night.

The project is invested by the Provincial Management Board of Civil and Industrial Construction Investment Projects. Construction started in April 2023. The project provides water for nearly 4,600 households, with a water consumption standard of 80 liters/person/day and night; water quality is guaranteed according to Standard 01-2008/BYT of the Ministry of Health .

After nearly 2 years of construction, the project has been completed and put into use, contributing to solving the problem of water shortage within the project area, improving people's lives, reducing diseases related to the use of water of poor quality; promoting socio -economic development, accelerating the process of building new rural areas, especially in ethnic minority areas in Lak district.
