Inauguration of Ho Chi Minh Cultural Space at Cu Chi Tunnels

Ho Chi Minh City Command has just held the inauguration ceremony of Ho Chi Minh Cultural Space at Cu Chi Tunnels Historical Relic Site with the meaningful theme: "The South with Uncle Ho - Uncle Ho with the South".

Delegates cut the ribbon to inaugurate Ho Chi Minh Cultural Space at Cu Chi Tunnels.

This is a work of profound ideological, political and cultural significance, contributing to clarifying the moral example and style of Ho Chi Minh, and is a vivid symbol in the effort to promote studying and following his ideology, morality and style.

Speaking at the ceremony, Colonel Nguyen Thanh Trung, Political Commissar of Ho Chi Minh City Command, emphasized: The project is a special red address, depicting Uncle Ho's deep affection for the southern region and the loyalty, resilience, and wholehearted devotion to Uncle Ho of the southern army and people during the resistance war.

This space has realized Directive 05-CT/TW dated May 15, 2016 of the Politburo on promoting studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle, contributing practically to educating revolutionary traditions, building morality and ideals for today's and future generations.

With an area of ^240m2 , the Ho Chi Minh cultural space at Cu Chi Tunnels Relics displays a system of valuable images and documents recreating important milestones in the life and great revolutionary career of President Ho Chi Minh, with the center highlighted by a statue of Uncle Ho in a solemn and respectful sitting position.

Ho Chi Minh City Command requested the Board of Directors of the Cu Chi Tunnels Historical Site to soon put the project into operation and effective use, and organize political activities, propaganda, and education suitable for each target group, especially the young generation.

Thereby contributing to fostering revolutionary ideals, patriotic traditions, and the spirit of dedication to the Fatherland and the people in the young generation of the city named after Uncle Ho.
