After nearly 2 months of construction, the house was completed with a total area of 70m2, costing over 110 million VND. Of which, Hai Duong Clean Water Trading Joint Stock Company supported 50 million; Hai Duong Lottery One Member Co., Ltd. and Hai Duong Pharmaceutical and Medical Supplies Joint Stock Company each supported 10 million VND. The remaining funding was contributed and mobilized by the Hai Duong City Military Command and Hai Tan Ward People's Committee.
Mrs. Tran Thi Lap is the only daughter of martyr Tran Van Tap who died in the resistance war against French colonialism. She has difficult housing circumstances.
This is the second "house of gratitude" inaugurated by the Hai Duong City Military Command since the beginning of the year to support people with meritorious services and relatives of martyrs to practically celebrate the 80th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam People's Army (December 22, 1944 - December 22, 2024) and the 35th anniversary of the National Defense Day (December 22, 1989 - December 22, 2024).
