Survey of investment project to build resettlement facilities to establish new border villages - Lang Son Electronic Newspaper

- On the morning of August 22, the delegation of the Provincial People's Council in Van Lang district (Delegation Group No. 6) led by Comrade Nguyen Van Truong, Secretary of the District Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Council of Van Lang district, head of Delegation Group No. 6, conducted a field survey of two investment projects to build resettlement works to establish new villages bordering Na Ngoa, Tan Thanh commune and Po Luc, Thuy Hung commune in Van Lang district.

The project of resettlement to establish a new border village in Po Luc, Thuy Hung commune and Na Ngoa, Tan Thanh commune, invested by the Department of Rural Development, Department of Agriculture and Rural Development, started implementation in 2011, with an expected stable number of 46 households.

Delegates conducted a field survey of residential areas in Na Ngoa village, Tan Thanh commune.

Specifically, the project to relocate people to establish a new border village in Na Ngoa, Tan Thanh commune has a total adjusted investment of over 54.7 billion VND. By December 2023, the project will be completed according to the approved design and handed over to the People's Committee of Van Lang district in February 2024.

The project to relocate people to establish a new border village in Po Luc, Thuy Hung commune has a total adjusted investment of over 17.3 billion VND. By August 2023, the project was completed according to the design. In May 2024, the Department of Rural Development organized the acceptance and handover of the resettlement area to the People's Committee of Van Lang district.

At the survey points, the members of the delegation exchanged and grasped relevant information during the project implementation process, specifically: residential areas, traffic roads, domestic water supply systems, cultural houses, electricity, etc.

At the same time, Delegation Group No. 6 of the Provincial People's Council requested the People's Committee of Van Lang district and the investor to quickly overcome the shortcomings and deficiencies of the two projects, in order to facilitate the living and production development of people when moving to the new place.
