At the meeting, the delegation surveyed the water supply system, assessed the needs and possibilities of upgrading the system, and discussed and agreed on a roadmap to support clean water for the school.
Mr. Nguyen Van Thao, Principal of Tan Hung Primary and Secondary School, said that the school currently has nearly 400 students, 67% of whom are ethnic minorities. In the past, due to the high cost of installing a clean water system that meets standards, the school did not have enough funds to support free drinking water for students. The school hopes that the clean water access project sponsored by GREEN IN will soon be installed at the school, helping students have clean drinking water.

“Clean water at school means less health concerns, and students will be more enthusiastic about studying and extracurricular activities. We consider this not only as material support but also as motivation for each teacher and each student to make more efforts, together nurturing dreams and building a sustainable future,” said Mr. Nguyen Van Thao.
According to Ms. Tran Hong Quyet, General Secretary of the Binh Phuoc Provincial Federation of Associations, the program of bringing clean water to students in remote areas of Binh Phuoc province has received great attention from the leaders of the Provincial Federation of Associations, because this is not only a practical support program foreducation in remote areas but also a clear demonstration of the social responsibility of intellectuals and businesses. The coordination between the federation, GREEN IN, CIMB and the school demonstrates the spirit of pioneering, applying science and technology to solve the most basic living needs of the community.
