Music rises from a corner of the lake with the sound of guitar, violin, piano and the singer's voice as if awakening the city. Trinh's songs such as "Diem Xua", "Mua Hong", or a jazz melody resound, the space becomes a symphony of time, memory and nature.

Music erases space and time

In recent years, Da Lat has become a destination not only for tourism but also for enjoying music . Therefore, listening to music from 5am is not a "showy" idea but a way to make this music destination more interesting with a dense schedule of enjoying art, starting at 5am. Among countless inspiring moments, there is a very special musical experience that is gradually being shared by locals and tourists: the nameless performances by Xuan Huong Lake at dawn. "Music becomes a part of the memories of Da Lat people or tourists, so that they can carry those memories and spread them everywhere, that is the most precious thing. The show from 5am, I feel a gentle, poetic Da Lat, like the old days that have never been lost" - musician Truong Le Son shared.

No stage, no tickets, no fixed performance schedule, but these shows can awaken every emotion in the hearts of the audience.

Dalat is recognized by UNESCO as a "Creative City" in the field of music. Therefore, a performance at cockcrow is not too mysterious. Musician Truong Le Son said that the idea of Dalat 5AM came from the coffee habit of friends who share a passion for music. The friends welcomed the sunrise together by Xuan Huong Lake, one person singing, the other playing the guitar...

Live concert “Sketch a rose” by singer Ha Anh Tuan

No stage, no promotion, Dalat 5AM exists by harmony. Artists of all ages, some nearly 80, still stand and sing every Sunday morning, with all their passion. Each performance is an impromptu gift, not scheduled, not announced, like a miracle that anyone lucky enough to pass by will encounter.

Singing at 5 o'clock is not easy, because some professional singers need almost a whole day to develop their voices. But music can connect everything, not only erasing space and time but also erasing worries and fears.

There are shows at 5am and there are shows at midnight. 3 hours of excitement with a DJ on a double-decker bus in the middle of the night in Ho Chi Minh City is one of the trends loved by young people.

This city tour on a double-decker bus with loud music has just appeared recently but is very popular because of the exciting new experiences for tourists when traveling to Ho Chi Minh City at night, especially those who love the vibrant atmosphere. The night tour departs at 9pm and ends at 0am, held every weekend with the starting point in front of the City Theater.

During the 3 hours, passengers not only sit on the open-top bus to enjoy the cool night breeze and watch the streets lit up with lights, but also immerse themselves in the vibrant music space right on the bus. That is the advantage of this unique experience. Ms. Tran Ngoc Thuy Vy, Director of Mypro Guide Travel Company - the tour operator, said: "While traditional tours focus on sightseeing and historical explanations, this trip is a journey of emotions, music and light. Guests not only get to see Saigon from a unique perspective but also enjoy the vibrant atmosphere with DJs, lights and soft drinks, something that no other night city tour offers."

Music of connection

According to statistics from the SocialTrend platform, from January 1 to March 28, Vietnamese audiences welcomed 19 music concerts from domestic and foreign artists, creating more than 2 million discussions and nearly 28 million interactions. Of which, there were 14 concerts from "domestic" idols and the amount of discussions created by these concerts accounted for 90.61% of the total number of discussions about the concert.

Among them, the two "phenomenal" shows "Anh trai say hi" and "Anh trai vu ngan cong gai" took the lead with an explosive wave of public opinion on social networks. Meanwhile, Ha Anh Tuan's live concert "Sketch a rose" recorded nearly 130,000 discussions and 1.89 million interactions. These shows, along with Phan Manh Quynh's live concert "Chuyen tau: Mua dong", "Gai Concert", "Nhung thanh pho mong"... had a large audience.

In the context of traditional culture being widely accepted by netizens, music concerts are no longer a mere entertainment activity but are gradually becoming a space to connect community emotions and spread cultural elements and national spirit to millions of audiences. Large-scale music events not only show the level of connection with the community, but also reflect a clear change in the "fandom culture" of Vietnamese artists. Replacing the previous trend of being fascinated by foreign stars is a wave of support for domestic artists because domestic concerts are now of high quality.

From there, the audience is not only treated to a "visual and auditory feast" but also arouses the spirit of pride and strong patriotism that is always present.

Not only stopping at the cultural aspect, concerts also create positive impacts on society and the community in general. For example, singer Ha Anh Tuan often donates a portion of his revenue to charity activities after each performance. Or the organizers of "Anh trai vu ngan cong gai" confirmed that 6 hearts of children in the Vietnam Heartbeat Fund were saved through donations from the performance "If one day I have to fly to the sky". With positive impacts on culture, art and community at the same time, concerts today not only bring sublime experiences of art, but also bring social and community values.
