Notably, after several stable sessions, domestic pepper prices recorded a sharp "plunge" today, falling by as much as 3,000 VND/kg.
Accordingly, today's pepper prices in Dak Lak and Lam Dong provinces both decreased by 1,000 VND/kg, currently at 147,000 VND/kg; in Gia Lai province, prices decreased by 1,500 VND/kg, currently at 144,500 VND/kg.

This adjustment is occurring amidst a slight increase in domestic supply as some households sell off their produce after prices peaked for the short term. However, many traders believe the downward trend may only be temporary, as export demand remains high.
