Specifically, in Gia Lai and Dak Lak provinces, coffee prices today increased by 700 VND/kg, to 114,200 VND/kg and 114,500 VND/kg, respectively. In Lam Dong, with an increase of 600 VND/kg, coffee reached a transaction price of 114,600 VND/kg.

Notably, after many stable sessions, today, domestic pepper prices recorded a sharp "plummet", down to 3,000 VND/kg.
Accordingly, pepper prices today in Dak Lak and Lam Dong provinces both decreased by 1,000 VND/kg, currently at 147,000 VND/kg; in Gia Lai province, they decreased by 1,500 VND/kg, currently at 144,500 VND/kg.
In the Southeast region, pepper prices in Ho Chi Minh City dropped sharply by 3,000 VND/kg, currently at 146,000 VND/kg; in Dong Nai province, they dropped by 2,000 VND/kg, down to 145,000 VND/kg.
The adjustment comes as domestic supply has started to increase slightly as some households sell when prices have just reached a short-term peak. However, many traders believe that the downward trend may only be temporary, as export demand remains high.
