Urgent atmosphere at the construction site of Yen Lac District Medical Center project

These days, taking advantage of favorable weather, nearly 100 officers, engineers and workers along with many equipment and machines of the consortium of 7 contractors including Thanh Manh Construction Company Limited, Phu Vinh Vinh Phuc Company Limited, Khai Quang Vinh Phuc Company Limited, Viet Hung Construction Joint Stock Company, Cos - H - Anh Duong Company Limited, An Duong Construction and Trading Company Limited, Duy Hung Company Limited are urgently constructing gardens, connecting equipment, cleaning and painting some areas of the Yen Lac District Medical Center project, urgently completing phase 1 of the project.

Yen Lac District Medical Center project strives to complete phase 1 by May 31, 2025.

Mr. Ta Van Hung, Director of the Project Management Department of Yen Lac District Medical Center - Provincial Project Management Board for Investment and Construction of Civil and Industrial Works, said: The biggest difficulty now is that the construction site cannot be handed over 100% due to the nature of Yen Lac District Medical Center's task of maintaining medical examination and treatment activities, providing health care for people regularly and continuously, so the project must be divided into 2 construction phases.

However, with the determination to ensure the progress of the package, the investor regularly urges the construction unit to carefully prepare equipment, human resources and urgently complete phase 1, no later than May 31 to complete the handover procedures to Yen Lac District Medical Center in June 2025. At the same time, the contractor is required to speed up the implementation of phase 2, including the remaining auxiliary items, and is expected to complete the entire project as planned.

The Yen Lac District Medical Center project started construction at the end of 2023 with a total investment of more than 300 billion VND. It is a group B project, a grade II civil work, invested by the Provincial Management Board of Investment and Construction of Civil and Industrial Works.

According to the design, the investment project to build and upgrade the Yen Lac District Medical Center with a scale of 250 beds includes the following items: 5-storey technical and operational building; 7-storey inpatient treatment building; 2-storey Infectious Diseases Department; 2-storey Infection Control Department. In addition, synchronous investment in auxiliary items and technical infrastructure such as Wastewater Treatment Plant with a capacity of 250m3/day and night, gates, fences, gardens, parking lots, water supply, transformer station lines, etc. In addition to the construction and installation items, the project also invests in modern medical equipment, ensuring to meet the medical examination and treatment needs of the people.

Taking us on a tour of the construction site, Site Commander Le Manh Hung said: “To ensure the current progress and progress, there was a time when the joint venture arranged nearly 200 engineers and workers, divided into 3 shifts, 4 teams and worked continuously since the project started. With the spirit of “overcoming the sun, overcoming the rain”, “eating quickly, sleeping urgently”, there was almost no day when the machines were silent on the construction site, as soon as the site was handed over, the unit prepared machinery and construction workers. We are determined to construct the items with the fastest progress, achieving the highest quality to quickly bring the project “to the finish line” ahead of the committed schedule.

With 3/5 of the land area handed over, the project has basically completed the investment in construction of a 5-storey technical and operational building, a 7-storey inpatient treatment building, a transformer station, a wastewater treatment system, a garage, etc. and completed the installation of equipment and machinery; 80% of the construction volume has been completed; the disbursement value has reached 214/315 billion VND.

After completion, handover and commissioning, the project will ensure synchronization and modernity, better meeting the medical examination and treatment needs of the people of Yen Lac district and neighboring areas. On that basis, the investor will continue to accompany and support the joint venture contractor during the project implementation process; promptly resolve arising issues to ensure the project is implemented smoothly and on schedule.

Along with that, the contractor is required to commit to ensuring quality and acceptance items with the participation of relevant parties during the implementation process as well as the phase transfer.

With the spirit of urgent labor competition at the construction site, the joint contractor will construct the project to ensure quality, in accordance with the design, technical specifications, aesthetics and completion ahead of schedule.
