Exactly 50 years ago, on March 28, 1975, from all directions, our troops launched attacks on Da Nang city; our artillery fired fiercely at enemy military targets in Da Nang city.

The 164th Brigade's long-range artillery located at Mui Trau, along with the front's long-range artillery, fired continuously at the Da Nang military port and airport, destroying many enemy planes and warehouses. Da Nang airport was paralyzed, the enemy's communications center was destroyed, and their communications were cut off. The enemy troops here became even more panicked.
