Moments and events: April 14, 1975 - Decision on the Saigon Liberation Campaign

Faced with the development of "one day equals twenty years," on April 14, 1975, the Politburo approved the proposal of the Campaign Command to name the offensive campaign to liberate Saigon the Ho Chi Minh Campaign.

The telegram of the Politburo signed by comrade Le Duan, First Secretary of the Central Executive Committee, sent to the Campaign Command clearly stated: "Agree to name the Saigon Campaign the Ho Chi Minh Campaign"./.
