Construction of a 643 billion VND resettlement area in Bien Hoa to serve the Bien Hoa

The resettlement area in Tam Phuoc ward is the first resettlement area in Bien Hoa city and the third resettlement area in the province to be built to serve the resettlement of households in the Bien Hoa - Vung Tau Expressway Project area passing through the province.

The resettlement area in Tam Phuoc ward has an infrastructure investment area of over 31 hectares. According to the plan, after completion of construction, this resettlement area will arrange about 1,280 adjacent residential plots to serve the resettlement of households. At the same time, the land fund for future housing development will be arranged with an area of about 1.1 hectares and the land fund for investment in the construction of other social security works to serve the residents in the area and the residents of the surrounding areas such as:educational works; trade, services; green parks...

In particular, the Provincial Land Fund Development Center will be the investor in constructing items of the technical infrastructure system including: roads; embankments, retaining walls; water supply and drainage systems; power supply and lighting systems; information; technical trenches, wastewater treatment works, upgrading about 1.8km of road connecting the resettlement area with National Highway 51 and building a kindergarten for children of households resettled in the project with a scale of about 340 children.

As for social infrastructure projects (cultural centers, medical stations, commercial centers, concentrated green parks, etc.) that are not within the scope of investment of the project. These projects will be considered by the People's Committee of Bien Hoa City and proposed for investment using public investment capital or socialized capital when the rate of resettlement housing construction is high and there is a need.

The project to build a resettlement area in Tam Phuoc ward has a total investment of about 643 billion VND, will basically complete the construction of technical infrastructure and hand over the resettlement land to the people in December 2025. The entire project will be completed and handed over in 2028.

Speaking at the groundbreaking ceremony, Director of the Provincial Land Fund Development Center Mai Phong Phu said that this is an urgent and especially important project to serve the resettlement of the Bien Hoa - Vung Tau Expressway Project and other construction investment projects in the province.

With the criterion of "new residence must be at least equal to or better than the old residence", the project is invested in building synchronous technical infrastructure to promote investment efficiency for projects that have been and are being invested in, create new development space, and build a sustainable and modern urban system.
