Awakening pride in Vietnamese martial arts

VHO - To welcome the 1st Congress of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee, term 2025-2030 and the 14th National Congress of the Party, on the morning of October 5, at the Binh Duong Sports Training and Competition Center Gymnasium, the Opening Ceremony of the Ho Chi Minh City Vovinam Club Tournament 2025 took place.

The tournament brings together 150 athletes.

The tournament gathered more than 150 athletes from 14 units, including wards, businesses, schools... in the city, competing enthusiastically in many martial arts and combat events.

The tournament is a unique mass sports playground, gathering typical units such as Binh Hoa, Thuan An, Chanh Hiep, Phu An, Tan Uyen wards, Thu Dau Mot University, Tan Thanh Wood Joint Stock Company, Le Thi Trung Primary School...

Athletes compete in many diverse categories: Women's Solo (Dragon Tiger Fist), Women's Team Fist (Thousand-Armed Fist), Men's Solo (Four Pillars Fist), Women's Weapon Solo (The Essence of Liang Yi Swordplay), Women's Unarmed Multi-Armed Fist...

The tournament is also an opportunity to honor martial spirit.

Not only a place to demonstrate technical skills and competitive spirit, the Ho Chi Minh City Vovinam Club Tournament is also an occasion to honor martial arts spirit, preserve national cultural values, and affirm the position of Vovinam - Viet Vo Dao in modern sports life.

The tournament also demonstrates the spirit of solidarity, aiming to develop the sports movement across the country, contributing to spreading the message "Healthy to build and protect the Fatherland" in the exciting competitive atmosphere to celebrate the country's important events.

This is also the opening event for a series of sports activities towards the major Party Congresses in Region 2 (old Binh Duong ).

At the same time, at EcoLakes My Phuoc Urban Area, the Color Run "Color Run EcoLakes 2025" took place with more than 2,000 participants, including Mr. Firdauz Othman - Consul General of Malaysia in Ho Chi Minh City.
