ĐNO - Artificial intelligence (AI) is spreading beyond the cities, taking root in fields, nurseries, farms and production complexes in the countryside. Farmers have known how to take advantage of smart tools to overcome barriers of people, distance and management capacity.

Applying AI to every process

Phu Binh Cooperative (HTX) in Tam Xuan commune has in recent years become one of the typical examples of digital transformation in rural areas, thanks to the proactive application of artificial intelligence in most stages of production and business.

Operated by a team of mainly young people, the cooperative is divided into three specialized groups: business, distribution and farm, each department applies AI in a direction suitable to the specific nature of the work.

Mr. Vo Hong Long, Director of Phu Binh Cooperative, said: "Our business department uses AI to write social media post content, make communication videos , design images, run marketing campaigns..."

At the same time, smart chatbot tools also help him take care of and classify customers according to their needs and level of interest in the product. In particular, providing customers with an AI assistant tool that can help them look up common diseases in chickens and birds, thereby handling them quickly without having to wait for expert advice.

In distribution, AI helps streamline the delivery process, monitor inventory, and alert on unusual orders. In the farm department, which is often difficult to digitize due to the nature of farming, AI is applied to train personnel, store data on growth, pathology, and farming environment.

This information is constantly updated, helping to improve the care regime for pets. Here, the technical team also builds a specialized database to train the internal AI system, helping the tool to increasingly "understand the profession" and understand regional specialties.

In Huong Tra Ward, Echogreen Company Limited is also moving in a similar direction. Operating in the field of creating environmentally friendly products, Echogreen applies AI to packaging design, content creation, communication planning, market trend analysis and growth strategy proposals.

According to Mr. Nguyen Van Trung, Head of the company's General Administration Department, AI is helping the team reduce staff, increase efficiency and especially support the creative team to find a more suitable direction in designing gift products from recycled materials.

In the past, writing content for dozens of product samples, analyzing customer feedback, or researching foreign markets was beyond the capabilities of a small business. But with AI, all data is systematically processed, grouped, and new approaches are suggested. That is what makes us believe that rural businesses can compete equally if they know how to use the right tools.

In many other rural areas in Da Nang , AI is being used as a support tool to replace steps that are heavily dependent on human resources or traditional management capacity. From bookkeeping, branding, packaging design, product photography to market research, customer response, now supported by artificial intelligence and automation tools.

Improve competitiveness

According to Mr. Long, if in the past, to complete a product introduction video or a communication article for a sales campaign, the unit had to mobilize at least 2 staff members in charge of filming, editing, dubbing, scripting and posting, taking 2-3 days to complete, now with AI tools supporting image creation, product image creation and content writing, the entire production process is only wrapped up in 1 hour.

Not only did we save time, we also cut content production costs in half. If we previously had to pay extra for designers, editors, or marketing collaborators, now we only need one person who is proficient in the tool. Campaign costs are reduced by up to 50%, content is released faster, and market response is more timely.

What matters more is not the cost or time, but the way an agricultural business unit operates. Virtual assistants now not only write articles or respond to customers, but also help the management team plan weekly production, create administrative forms, track sales performance, analyze inventory, predict consumer trends, etc.

Mr. Trung believes that AI does not take away human creativity or thinking ability. On the contrary, it helps human resources save time on repetitive operations, so that they have more time to think about strategy and improve products.

"We are using AI to create test brand identities, compare their appeal, simulate market reactions, and then choose the final one. This helps save testing costs, limit risks, and make more accurate decisions," said Trung.

Echogreen is currently applying AI to graphic design, content writing, market research, even analyzing communication scenarios, predicting effectiveness when implementing regional promotional programs.

As a result, businesses are more proactive in positioning their brands and identifying new customer segments in rural areas, instead of relying entirely on outdated data or market sentiment.

"We once launched a campaign to reach young customers in the suburbs, but it was not effective at first because the method was still old. After using AI to analyze shopping habits, search content and spending levels, we discovered that this group of customers was interested in convenience, green - clean factors and the ability to try. From there, we rebuilt the communication content and improved the number of orders by more than 40% compared to before," Mr. Trung added.
