Prosecution initiated against suspect for embezzling over 1 billion VND.

(Dan Tri Newspaper) - An individual residing in Quang Tri province has been prosecuted for abusing his position and authority to embezzle over 1 billion VND.

On December 27th, the Quang Tri Provincial Police initiated legal proceedings and temporarily detained Le Quang Hung (born in 1989), residing in Ward 5, Dong Ha City, Quang Tri Province, on charges of embezzlement.

According to initial investigations, Le Quang Hung, while working at NIJI Trading and Development Joint Stock Company, located in Quarter 2, Dong Le Ward, Dong Ha City, abused his position and authority to embezzle assets.

Authorities have determined that Hung embezzled over 1 billion VND. The case is still under investigation.
