Prosecution of subject embezzling more than 1 billion VND

(Dan Tri) - A resident of Quang Tri province has been prosecuted for taking advantage of his position and authority to embezzle more than 1 billion VND.

On December 27, Quang Tri Provincial Police prosecuted and temporarily detained Le Quang Hung (born 1989), residing in Ward 5, Dong Ha City, Quang Tri, on charges of embezzlement of property.

According to the initial investigation results, Le Quang Hung, during his time working at NIJI Trading and Development Joint Stock Company, located in Quarter 2, Dong Le Ward, Dong Ha City, took advantage of his position and power to commit embezzlement.

Authorities have determined that the amount of money Hung embezzled is more than 1 billion VND. The case is under further investigation.
