Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology and Education won first prize in the "2025 Expanded FPGA & MCU Design Competition".

DNO - On December 16th, the Da Nang Center for Research, Training in Microchip Design and Artificial Intelligence, in collaboration with various units and businesses, organized the final round of the "FPGA & MCU Design Expansion Competition 2025".

Launched on May 19th, the competition attracted 27 teams from universities and colleges in Da Nang city. After completing the preliminary round on July 23rd, the organizing committee selected 12 teams whose products met the technical requirements and demonstrated professional competence to participate in the final round.

Throughout the competition rounds, many contestants demonstrated significant improvement in presentation skills, systems thinking, technical problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to organize and implement complete projects.

In the competition results, the Chill Guy team from the University of Technical Education (Da Nang University) won first prize worth 15 million VND with their project "Design and development of a radar system to monitor the vital signs of children left behind in a 29-seat school bus".

The organizers also awarded one second prize, two third prizes, five consolation prizes, and one special prize to the participating teams. The total prize money was 43 million VND.
