Foreigner prosecuted for bringing drugs to Dong Nai to sell for profit

On July 6, the Drug Crime Investigation Department of Dong Nai Province Police announced that the unit had prosecuted and temporarily detained Oyiga Chide Kingsley (32 years old, Nigerian nationality, temporarily residing in Go Vap District, Ho Chi Minh City) to investigate the crime of "Illegal drug trafficking".

Previously, at 7:00 p.m. on June 6, at Quarter 2, Thong Nhat Ward (Bien Hoa City, Dong Nai), the reconnaissance force of the Drug Crime Investigation Police Department of Dong Nai Provincial Police coordinated with Working Group 161 of the Provincial Police to discover and catch Oyiga Chide Kingsley in the act of possessing a 995-gram package of Methamphetamine.

At the investigation agency, Oyiga Chide Kingsley confessed that he bought the above drugs from a subject (unknown origin) for 9,000 USD in Ho Chi Minh City. After that, this person brought them to Dong Nai to sell for profit, on the way to deliver the drugs, he was discovered and arrested by the police.

The Drug Crime Investigation Police Department of Dong Nai Province Police is continuing to expand the investigation and awaiting handling according to the provisions of law.
