Three people in Hue City have just been discovered and prosecuted by the police for counterfeiting shampoo and hair conditioner.

On September 26, the Economic Police Department of Hue City Police announced that it had initiated a case and prosecuted three people for producing and trading counterfeit shampoo and hair conditioner.

Previously, on July 14, the authorities inspected lane 5, lane 22 Nguyen Phuc Lan (Kim Long ward, Hue city) and discovered that Nguyen Thi Loan (36 years old, resident of Kim Long ward) was organizing the production and packaging of many counterfeit shampoo and hair conditioner products.

Investigation results show that from June to July 2025, Loan was the leader, colluding with Tran Quang Nam and Pham Hoai Bao, to set up a fake shampoo production line.

This group bought floating materials, printed fake stamps and packaging for the grapefruit smooth hair shampoo brand of Catchy Natural Cosmetic Company Limited (headquartered in Ho Chi Minh City).

This product is patented.

In just a short time, the 3 people above produced and released 904 bottles of fake shampoo and conditioner, worth about 108 million VND, equivalent to the real product.
