Dramatic and exciting in every match

After two days of competition (from August 18th to 20th), with the participation of 21 clubs and units from within the province and neighboring provinces and cities, and nearly 120 athletes competing in categories A and B, the tournament provided spectators and table tennis fans with many high-level, dramatic, and exciting matches.

In the B category, the gold medal went to athlete Hoang Anh Duc (Cam Pha Cement Club), the silver medal to athlete Le Van Phuc (Gia Trang Club), and the bronze medals to two athletes, Dao Tran Ngoc Tam (Cam Pha Cement Club) and Tran Minh Dung (Retirement Club). In the team event, the gold medal went to La Gi Club, and the silver medal to Doan Ket 1 Club. Hung Dien Tu Club and Gia Trang Club both won bronze medals.

In the A category, the gold medal went to athlete Nguyen Quoc Huy (Electricity Company II, Ho Chi Minh City), the silver medal to athlete Nguyen Thien Tan (Thu Duc), and the bronze medals to athletes Nguyen Tu Cuong (La Gi) and Pham Thanh Giang (Phuong Mai Silk). In the team A category, the gold medal went to Phuong Mai Silk Club, the silver medal to Anh Sang Club (Phan Thiet), and La Gi and Thu Duc Clubs shared the bronze medal.

Commenting on the tournament, Mr. Nguyen Duc Hanh – President of the Table Tennis Federation, shared: “ This tournament once again affirms the movement of practicing and competing in table tennis in Binh Thuan province and neighboring provinces. During the tournament, many athletes from clubs, associations, and groups with passion and high expertise emerged, providing fans with many dramatic and exciting plays. We hope the tournament will be organized regularly to create a sporting arena, improve health, create a vibrant competitive atmosphere, strengthen solidarity, and promote learning among individuals and teams. From there, we hope to discover more new talents for the development of table tennis.”
