Checking compliance with legal regulations at nutritional product distribution enterprises

The delegation inspected liquid nutritional food products distributed by European Health Care Company Limited (Vinh Yen).

This is a business distributing 53 products with 3 product groups including powdered nutritional products, liquid nutritional supplements, and liquid nutritional products (ready-to-mix) for adults and children.

The inspection team inspected business registration, product distribution registration and documents and papers in accordance with the law. At the same time, they inspected labels and declared nutritional content of some products distributed by the company, and visited the actual production process of dairy products at the company's partner, Vietnam Dairy and Beverage Joint Stock Company, Ba Thien II Industrial Park (Binh Xuyen).

According to the preliminary assessment, at the time of inspection, no violations of food safety regulations were detected. Members of the inspection team requested the company to proactively take samples to test the quality and safety indicators of the food products distributed by the company.

If any food safety indicators are detected in the product, the enterprise must immediately report to the competent authority and commit to absolutely not distributing the product to the market.

At the same time, continue to present a complete list of the company's agents, distributors, declaration records of distributed products, legal documents on food safety for food ingredients... to the inspection team before May 7, 2025.

During the inspection, the inspection team increased propaganda and dissemination of legal regulations, raising awareness and knowledge of food safety for business owners.

The inspection and post-inspection of compliance with legal regulations at food production and trading establishments managed by the health sector has been stepped up to detect fake and poor quality food and nutritional products (in the form of powdered milk) to report to the Provincial People's Committee and the Ministry of Health for handling in accordance with the law, contributing to protecting consumers' health.
