Support workers to work abroad under contract

(CT) - In April 2025, Can Tho City Employment Service Center introduced overseas jobs to 26 people; provided overseas labor for 80 people in the markets: Japan, Taiwan, Korea and Greece. By the end of April 2025, the total number of Can Tho workers who went abroad was 457 people, reaching 91.40% of the annual plan.

Enterprises participate in consulting on labor going abroad under contract at job transaction events organized by Can Tho City Employment Service Center.

In order to promote information and propaganda work on the program of sending workers to work abroad (LVƠNN) under contracts, since the beginning of the year, the City Employment Service Center has increased the organization of information and propaganda sessions and invited workers to register to participate in orders in the fields of food processing, nursing, interior decoration... deploying information to workers according to the instructions from the Overseas Labor Center for the EPS Program (working for a limited period in Korea); organizing domestic and foreign job consultation for workers receiving unemployment benefits on fixed days of the week. In addition, the Center also promptly applies current policies for workers who need to go to LVƠNN; updates and reviews overseas job information on the Overseas Employment Information Portal at: www.xkldcantho.vn; promotes research and forecasting of the labor market; Coordinate with companies operating in sending workers to work abroad to participate in consulting and preliminary selection of workers at job fairs, recruitment days, job fairs... organized in the city.
