Giving gifts and housing to support households in difficult circumstances

(CT) - Ms. Nguyen Thi The, Chairwoman of the Red Cross Society of Truong Lac Ward, O Mon District, said that in response to the Humanitarian Month 2025, the society has just mobilized benefactors to donate 50 gifts to support households in difficult circumstances. Each gift is worth 350,000 VND including rice and some necessities (photo).

Since the beginning of 2025, the Red Cross Society of Truong Lac Ward has mobilized members and benefactors inside and outside the ward to donate 900 gifts, worth over 256 million VND, to support households in difficult circumstances in the areas.

Every month, the association regularly distributes rice to 8 households in especially difficult circumstances (10kg/household); households in sudden difficulties, due to events, funerals... In addition, it mobilizes the construction and handover of 4 Red Cross houses to help households in difficult housing situations, worth 225 million VND.
