Kien Duc tests new commune-level government

On the afternoon of June 23, along with 5 communes and wards of Lam Dong province (new), Kien Duc commune (currently Dak Nong province) organized a trial operation of the new commune-level government.

The trial operation was held online, connecting with 124 communes, wards and special zones of the new Lam Dong province, under the supervision and direction of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee of the three provinces of Dak Nong, Lam Dong and Binh Thuan .

Kien Duc commune also organized a trial operation of contents related to the consolidation of commune-level People's Council delegates; announced and handed over resolutions and decisions appointing key personnel of the commune-level People's Council of competent authorities and activities to prepare and organize the first session of the new commune-level People's Council according to regulations and instructions of the National Assembly Standing Committee.

According to the pilot operation scenario of the organization of activities of the commune-level government, on the afternoon of June 23, the Xuan Huong Ward - Da Lat, Lam Dong Province bridge point was chosen as the main broadcasting center, connected with 124 bridge points in the communes, wards, and new special zones of Lam Dong Province.

The activity was organized under the direct direction and supervision of the leaders of the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee and departments and branches of the three provinces of Lam Dong, Dak Nong and Binh Thuan.

The event marks an important preparation in the merger of Lam Dong province and is a big step forward in the province's administrative reform, towards building a streamlined management model and serving people and businesses more effectively.
