Completing the position of Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hung Yen province

On November 20, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hung Yen province for the 2024-2029 term held its first meeting, implementing the consultation process and electing the position of Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province for the 2024-2029 term. This is a process to complete the position of Chairman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee after Mr. Nguyen Manh Hung, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province, was transferred by the Central Government to work at the Central Inspection Committee.

Through consultation, members of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hung Yen province voted and unanimously elected Mr. Tran Quoc Toan, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of the Party Committee of the Provincial Party Agencies to hold the position of Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province for the 2024 - 2029 term.

Mr. Tran Quoc Toan was born in 1973, from Luong Bang commune, Hung Yen province, has a master's degree, majoring in Economic Management. He held many positions in the political system of the old Hung Yen province such as: Director of the Department of Justice, Secretary of the Kim Dong District Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Committee, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council. After the two provinces of Hung Yen and Thai Binh merged into the new Hung Yen province, Mr. Tran Quoc Toan became Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of the Party Committee of the provincial Party agencies.

At the meeting, Mr. Tran Quoc Toan said that being trusted by the members of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee to consult and elect to hold the position of Chairman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee is a personal honor and also a great responsibility. He will strive to practice and learn to fulfill his tasks well. The front system is entering a new phase of operation, when the organization and apparatus of the political system have many changes, there are no longer intermediate levels, working directly with the grassroots and with the people. In the immediate future, the Fatherland Front of Hung Yen province must participate in many important tasks, including organizing the election of the National Assembly and People's Councils at all levels for the new term, requiring the team to be highly determined and make great efforts.

Therefore, Mr. Tran Quoc Toan hopes that the cadres of the Provincial Fatherland Front will unite, join forces, gather, unite, and promote the strength of all classes of people to fulfill their roles and tasks in the new period, join hands to build and develop Hung Yen province to become more and more prosperous.
