Vietnam's economy is developing rapidly and sustainably, undergoing a green transformation in the digital age.

Attending and chairing the forum at the central location were Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh; Vice Chairman of the National Assembly Vu Hong Thanh; and Head of the Central Policy and Strategy Committee Nguyen Thanh Nghi. At the Ca Mau provincial location, the forum was attended by the Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Lam Van Bi.

According to the program, the forum includes one high-level plenary session and two thematic sessions. The forum will focus on objectively and comprehensively analyzing and evaluating the achievements, limitations, and causes in macroeconomic management in 2025, especially the implementation of the requirements for rapid and sustainable economic development associated with the dual transformation process (green transformation and digital transformation).

In addition, it is necessary to identify and clarify the international and domestic context; analyze and assess the opportunities and challenges for economic development in 2026 and the period 2026-2030, especially with regard to the double-digit growth target and green transformation associated with digital transformation.

Many speakers, experts, and senior strategists from Vietnam and internationally delivered insightful presentations, comprehensively assessing many core issues of the global economy as well as identifying opportunities and prospects for the development of the Vietnamese economy. Based on these, they recommended policies for the period 2026-2030.

Within the framework of the forum program, the panel discussion themed: "Proposing solutions to realize the goal of rapid, sustainable growth and green transformation in the digital age in the period 2026 - 2030, with a vision to 2025" raised important issues to promote the achievement of the country's overall growth target.

Speaking at the forum, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh emphasized: The Party and State of Vietnam have identified the dual transformation, greening, and digitalization as objective requirements, strategic choices, and investment priorities for development; they serve as both the foundation and the driving force for rapid and sustainable development of the country in general and the economy in particular.

Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh stated that during this term, Vietnam's goal of rapid and sustainable growth, achieving double-digit growth, has a solid foundation and basis for implementation; this goal reflects the high political determination and great efforts of the Party, the State, and the entire people, as well as the strong support and cooperation of international friends and partners.

To achieve sustainable double-digit growth in 2026 and subsequent years, the Prime Minister requested that ministries, sectors, and localities accelerate strategic breakthroughs in institutional reform, human resource development, and strategic infrastructure; in particular, institutions must be transparent, infrastructure must be seamless; new growth drivers, green economy, and circular economy must be promoted; new development spaces must be effectively utilized; land use must be efficient; and resource mobilization methods must be diversified... so that Vietnam's aspiration to reach greater heights will be concretized into tangible products, bringing happiness and prosperity to the people.
