Kon Tum: Arrested 2 subjects transporting more than 2 kg of drugs

Hua Van Bac was arrested by the police for drug possession and transportation.

Previously, at 7:30 p.m. on May 30, the Traffic Police force (under the Traffic Police Department of Kon Tum Provincial Police) coordinated with Dak To District Police to patrol and control security, order and traffic safety in this district.

When arriving in front of house number 134 Hung Vuong street, Dak To town, Dak To district, the authorities discovered two young men driving a motorbike with license plate number 20H9-2042 with many suspicious signs.

The task force asked them to stop for inspection, but the two subjects did not comply and increased the speed in an attempt to escape. During the escape, the subjects left behind a nylon bag containing white powder on the road.

2 subjects were arrested with evidence of crystal meth.

Afterwards, the authorities quickly organized a pursuit and arrested Hua Van Bac and Tran Van Tho. At the same time, they checked the nylon bag and discovered that it contained 2.1 kg (suspected to be crystal meth).

Through the investigation, the two subjects confessed that the nylon bag containing the white powder was crystal meth.

Currently, the two subjects and the evidence have been handed over to the Investigation Police Agency, Dak To District Police to continue to expand the investigation and handle according to regulations.
