Speaking at the opening ceremony, Deputy Director of the Vietnam Children's Fund Nguyen Thi Hien emphasized: Children are the source of happiness for families and the future of the nation; protecting and caring for children is the responsibility of the Party, the State and the whole society, and is also a strategy for building and developing Vietnamese people. In recent years, the Party and the State have had many important policies and guidelines, including the socialization policy on child protection and care, in order to mobilize more resources to care for the future young generation of the country.

To contribute to health care, improve physical strength and stature of Vietnamese people, over the years, the Vietnam Children's Support Fund has had many programs and projects to support nutrition for children, especially for children in difficult areas.

Through programs and projects, many children in disadvantaged areas have access to many sources of nutrition, supporting their development.

In this campaign, Hunmed Pharmaceutical Company, through the Vietnam Children's Fund, donated 1 million doses of Bio Amicus D3K2 worth VND 3 billion 360 million to 5,500 children from 0 to 3 years old in 16 provinces and cities nationwide. Of which, 72,000 doses were given to 400 children in Thanh Hoa province with a total cost of nearly VND 270 million.

At the event, the Organizing Committee held a Talk Show “Understand correctly - use correctly D3K2”, providing information about the product and instructions for using D3K2 correctly; doctors and nutritionists provided free nutritional examinations for children, and advised parents on knowledge to take care of their children in a more scientific way, helping them develop healthily.

This is the first step for children in disadvantaged areas to have the opportunity to access and use essential products, contributing to improving children's health and physical strength; it is also an opportunity to raise public awareness about the importance of supplementing micronutrients for children, especially vitamins D3 and K2 during the development stage of young children, especially the golden period from 0-3 years old, to support optimal calcium absorption, develop strong bones and teeth for children.

Over the past 33 years, the Vietnam Children's Fund, together with the Children's Funds at all levels, has successfully completed the task of connecting domestic and foreign benefactors to mobilize resources, reaching many addresses of children in need, contributing to ensuring that they can live healthy lives and develop both physically and mentally.

Up to now, the Child Protection Fund system has mobilized more than 8,000 billion VND, supporting nearly 36 million children in special and difficult circumstances nationwide, of which the Vietnam Children Protection Fund alone has mobilized more than 1,800 billion VND and hundreds of thousands of tons of goods and materials to support nearly 8 million children in special and difficult circumstances .
